Thurman Otto Terrell

Thurman Otto Terrell, age 75, of Ridgway, IL passed on this life August 7, 2022 in Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN as result of a automobile accident.  Otto as most knew him was born in Eldorado, IL on May 16, 1947 in Eldorado, IL the 18 th child of Andrew and Emma (Tyree) Terrell.  Otto married Kathy (Ramey) Terrell on December 20, 1966 and she survives.

Otto attended Ridgway High School, and served his country in the U.S. Army.  He had worked doing what he loved, wood working in the Hardwood industry in Georgia for many years.  He loved to visit and be around his family and friends, searching his family tree and going to church.  He was a member of the Souls Harbor Church of God in Ridgway.  Otto was a member of the Logansville, GA American Legion.  He always had a smile, a kind word and a story for you.  He will be remembered as a good husband, father and grandfather and friend.

Otto is survived by his wife, Kathy Terrell, a son James (Rhona) Terrell, a daughter, Jenice Terrell, grandchildren, Dale Terrell, JR, Ryan Hernandez, Destiny Terrell, Matthew Terrell, Kathleen Terrell, Skylar and Kaya Yawn.  1 sister, Phyllis Kanady.  Otto is preceded by one Son Dale Terrell and also by 16 siblings.

Visitation for Otto will be Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 1:30 to 2:30 PM at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Ridgway with a memorial service immediately following.  Rev. Jason Sork will preside.  Otto will be taken back to Georgia to buried with his family.
