Tonya L Maloney

Tonya L. Maloney, age 60 of Ridgway,  passed on this life on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 after an extended illness with Cancer.  Tonya was born on July 12, 1956 in Eldorado, IL to James (Doggie) and Ruby (Acord) Poshard.  On July 10, 1981, Tonya married Michael Maloney.

Tonya was a homemaker.  She loved to shop, read, decorate her home, and loved music.  She was a good storyteller to her children and grandchildren.   Tonya was a good Christian person whom will be remembered by her compassion, love, concern for others, but mostly her motherly love she has given her entire life to her children and grandchildren.  She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister who will be so missed.

Tonya is survived by her husband, Michael (Mitch) Maloney of Ridgway, her mother, Ruby Poshard of Eldorado, her children, Jason (Laura) Hish of Junction, Lori (Chris) Smith of Ridgway, Josh (Amanda) Maloney of Equality, Amber (Tim) Zirkelbach of Equality, Allison (Craig) Edwards of Omaha and Andy Maloney of St. Louis, MO. 3 Sisters, Donna (Frank) Johnson, Tami (Steve) Doerflein, and Kim Godfrey.
Grandchildren, Danielle, Daine, Dawson Hish, Lane & Hadley Welden, Devin (Andrew) Hish, Kaylie, Chelsey, Logan Naas, Carsyn, Hadley, Emma Weatherly, Saylor Maloney, Breanna Zirkelbach, Adrian Maloney, Bailey, Briley, Hayden Zirkelbach, Kristen, Shawn, and Ruby Edwards.  Great Grand, Kinley Prehn, Landon Jones, and Aubree Mull.  She is prededed in death by her father , James Poshard.

Visitation for Tonya will be on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in New Haven.  Her funeral service will be on Saturday, October 15, 2016 starting at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev. Leo Hall officiating.  Tonya will be laid to rest in Union Ridge Cemetery.
