Trudy Jo Abell

Trudy Jo Abell, of Evansville, IN but formerly of the New Haven area passed on this life, September 8, 2022 after an extended illness.  Trudy was born in New Haven, IL on August 25, 1943 to the late Luther and Lillie (Acord) Adams.

Trudy graduated from High School and furthered her education becoming a nurse.  She loved crafts, watching Western movies and mostly being with her family.  She will always be remembered as a loving and caring person.

She is survived by her children, Raymond (Debbie) Abell, Ricky Abell, Tina Mott, amd Sherry Tatum.  Her sister Anita (Curtis) Campbell, her grandchildren, Aaron, Alek, Patty Jo, Danielle, Shane and Kevin.  Nieces and nephews, Angie Adams, Amy Taylor, K.C. (Stacee) Campbell, Zach (Kenzie) Campbell and Luther Adams.   Her brother Raymond Adams preceded her in death.

Services for Trudy will be on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Cox and Son funeral home, New Haven with visitation from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.  Graveside services will be immediately following at the Union Ridge Cemetery near New Haven with Mike Buckman presiding.
