Verda Fay Anderson

Verda Faye (Garrison) Anderson, age 90 passed away peacefully, Friday, January 9, 2009 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. Faye as most knew her was born North East of Ridgway on the family farm December 5, 1918 to the late Charles and Ora (Downen) Foster.
She was married to Guy Garrison who preceded her in death in 1959. She later married Frank Anderson of Eldorado in 1964 and he preceded her in 2007.
Faye was a homemaker and loved to play Bingo and Bridge. She was a good wife, mother, grandmother, sister and will be greatly missed.

Granddaughter Rhoda and Tom Cox of Ridgway, IL
Grandson Guy and Kristi Garrison of Evansville, IN

6 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild

Preceded in death by parents, husbands, Grandson - William Tab Garrison, Brothers Felix and Kale Foster and a Sister - Ruth Bayley


Visitation for Faye will be Sunday, January 11, 2009 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Cox and Son Funeral Home in Ridgway.
Funeral Services for Faye will be Monday, January 12, 2000 at 11:00 AM at the Cox and Son Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Buckman officiating.

Interment will follow the service at the Union Ridge Cemetery near New Haven.
