Vernon M. Hazel, Jr

Vernon M. Hazel, Jr., age 55 of Old Shawneetown, Il died at his home, Saturday, April 23, 2011 after an extended illness with cancer. Vernon was born in Union County, Ky on May 4, 1955 to Vernon M Hazel Sr and Bertha (Wright) Hazel. He had worked most of his life as a Truck Driver. He loved to be around his family and will be missed by all.

He is survived by2 sisters, Sue Clark of Scott City, MO, and Martha Doyle of Old Shawneetown, and 1 brother, Charles Hazel of Henderson, Ky. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by, 1 brother, William Hazel and 1 Sister Bessie Cobb.
