Wayne Lampert

Wayne Lampert, age 65, of Carrier Mills, IL but longtime Gallatin County resident, passed on this life, January 21, 2019 in Harrisburg Medical Center.  Wayne was born in Rosiclaire, IL on September 15, 1953 to the late Robert Utah and Mary Francis (Cheek) Lampert.

Wayne was a Truck Driver most of his life.  He was a member of the Ridgway Masonic Lodge.  Wayne served his country during Vietnam in the Army.  He loved to ride Motorcycles, wear his leather and express his love for the country.  He always had a smile for you and will be missed by many.

Wayne is survived by his son, Shawn (Marsha) Oldham of Shawneetown, brother, Earl Lampert of Equality, IL and 3 sisters, Violet Savage of Fairfield, IL, Faye Hertler of Wayne City, IL, and Sue Hopkins of Pleasant Hill MO.  He was also survived by lifelong friend, Jim Lowery.  Wayne was preceded by 2 brothers, Larry and Jerry Lampert and a sister, Linda Stewart.

Wayne will be laid to rest in Hogan Cemetery near Shawneetown with Military rites, Rev. Randy Vaughn will preside.   You may leave a note of comfort to the family at www.coxandson.com
