Willia Bea Mosby, age 83, of the Leamington Community, passed on this life, Saturday, January 28, 2017 in the Harrisburg Medical Center. Willia was born in Marion, IL on September 9, 1933 to the late Sherman and Oleva (Baker) Kingston. On October 5, 1952 she married Charles Joseph Mosby who preceded her in death. She was a faithful member of the Pisgah General Baptist church where she was also a Sunday School teacher. She loved her family and church family with all her heart. Willia will always be known for her Divinity Candy she always made at her favorite holiday, Christmas. Her big heart and beautiful soul will never be forgotten by those who knew and loved her.
Willia is survived by, her daughters, Katie Downen of Shawneetown, Kim Downen of Karbers Ridge, and Jeri & John Matz of Wauchula, FL, her grandchildren, Courtney and Joel Oldham, Jordan and Paul Ahrens, Hank and Barbie Downen, Kassy Downen, Lucas Downen, Wyatt Downen, Sarah and Chris Zender, Emmy Baustian, Noah Matz and Will & Brittany Matz. 7 Great Grandchildren. Her siblings, Jenny and Billy Briddick of Eldorado, IL, Harry and Carol Kingston of Fairview Hts, IL, and Carla and Matt McDonald of Huntsville, AL. She was preceded in death also by a son Rock Mosby and a grandson, Chris Downen.
Funeral Service for Willia will be on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2017 at the Pisgah General Baptist Church on Route 1 South, near Leamington starting at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends at the church from 9:30 AM until funeral time. Rev. Steve Hunt will officiate and her interment will take place in the Equality City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Willia's memory can be made to the Pisgah General Baptist Church. Envelopes will be available at the church.
