Angela Padget

Angela Marlene Lynch (Padget), age 50, passed away on December 22, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born December 19, 1971 in Eldorado, IL to Roy and Marlene Lynch, who reside in Ridgway, IL.

Angela was an amazing mother to her three daughters- Jordan (Eric) Waddle of Harrisburg, Chloe Padget of Ridgway, and Jaclyn Padget (who proceeds her in death). Angela also was one of the worlds proudest Mimi’s to her beautiful granddaughters - Ava, Lennox, and Cora Waddle.  Family was everything to Angela, . Angela is survived also by her sister Sonya (Rick) Tabb of Mt. Vernon IN, sister Mandy (Frank) Pennington of Ridgway IL and many nieces and nephews whom she loved so much.

For many years she worked as a CNA & caretaker. She enjoyed nurturing and caring for those in need, and building relationships with those needing a listening ear.  Angela enjoyed a good road trip. Her favorite traveling times were going to MS to spend time with her family there.  She had a love for planning events and shopping, which explains why Christmas was her favorite holiday. Although it saddens us, she will not be around our tree celebrating this year, it gives her family great peace knowing she will be in Heaven watching over them on Christmas morning.

Visitation for Angela will be on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in Ridgway from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  Her funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home starting at 2:00 PM with Mike Rushing officiating.  She will then be laid to rest next to her daughter in Hogan Cemetery south of Shawneetown.
