Frederick Bomar

Frederick Eugene “Freddy” Bomar, age 36, passed on this life on March 11, 2020 in New Haven, IL.  Freddy as most knew him was born on June 21, 1983 to Fred and Barbara (Steele) Bomar in Carmi, IL.  He attended and graduated from Gallatin County High School.

Freddy worked in Mt. Vernon, IN at Sabic as a contractor in the Railroad division.  He loved the outdoors especially Bonfires, Kayaking and enjoying nature. Socializing was his specialty, he loved to entertain his friends.  His best character was his kindness.  He was always polite, happy and had the biggest smile ever.  He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend and will be missed by many.

Freddy is survived by his mother, Barbara (Steele) Bomar of New Haven, brothers, Jimmy D. Ditterline of Harrisburg and Larry Bomar of Norris City. Sisters, Mechele (Brett) Whipple of New Haven, Kim (Matt) Morgan of New Haven and Kendra Bomar of New Haven. Nieces and Nephews, Justin Whipple, Braxton Pettyjohn, Aiden Edmonds, and Megan Morgan.  Many uncles, aunts and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father.

Visitation for Freddy will be on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at the Cox & Son Funeral Home in New Haven from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  A graveside service will immediately follow at the Union Ridge Cemetery near New Haven next to his father.
